Merry and Bright.....

















The tree is trimmed, the lights are lit, a few presents are wrapped and the stockings are hung. Courtney survived another semester at college and is home for the holidays. Hannah sang beautifully at her Christmas choir concert and Bowen knew the entire song at his 3rd grade Christmas "sing-a-long." Caitlin was outstanding in the high school dance company's, "The Grinch." She sang, she danced, she smiled and lit up the stage. She was the best ever, Cindy Lou Who. The whole production was "WHO-MAZING."

We attended the Mormon Tablernacle's Christmas Concert with David Archuletta, it was well worth the mass of people, the long line, and the waiting. The concert was beautiful and it left us breathless and full of the Christmas spirit! The lights at temple square were beautiful as ever and you could feel Christmas in the air.

Thankful...

Thanksgiving has come and gone. Life is so chaotic and I have not taken the time to express what I am thankful for at this time in my life. Today I am thankful for the chaos, I think it is what keeps me sane. There are trials all around me and the chaos is a great distraction, a way to feel connected and needed. So, at least at the present time, chaos is a blessing and chaos is good.

I am also thankful for my four beautiful, healthy, clear minded, determined, strong willed, talented, silly, intelligent, faithful, and valiant children! They are my most precious gifts and I love them more each and every day. I cherish every minute I have with them and I love being a part of their lives!

Thankfulness is my children and the chaos that surrounds my life!

An October Summary

October has already passed and now it's November! This year is passing by faster than a speeding train. I thought I would summarize October with pictures! Happy Autumn!

It's official, I am truly middle aged and old! I had another birthday!


Courtney and Julie learned to make fall crafts in Ephraim!


8th grade cheer competition...Go Hannah!

Football season ended with friends and fun at LHS, at least for Hannah and her posse (not alot of wins, however)!



Fall Break from college.....hurray, Courtney came home for a long weekend!

October Weekends

My future NFL All Star had another great game on Saturday. He scored a TD, the extra point and he made two tackles!



They did it! Caitlin and the LHS Dance Company---FIRST place!





Congratulations! Hannah and the Willowcreek Middle School Shakespeare team took home THIRD place! Hannah was outstanding in her Merry Wives of Windsor Scene!






Great weekend...Caitlin & LHS Dance Company took FIRST place for their dance ensemble and showcased at the Shakespeare Festival...Hannah and Willowcreek Drama took THIRD place for their drama ensemble and showcased at the Shakespeare Festival...Courtney got 80% on her MATH test...Bowen scored a TD, the extra point and made two tackles at his football game! Holla!

P.S. Courtney comes home Wednesday night...it's fall break, so we get her for the long weekend! More good times ahead...I love October weekends.
